Baby on Board

It has been a LONG time since I have posted! We have had quite a bit going on recently, not least of which I now find myself 6 months pregnant! As you can imagine I have been knee-deep in baby mania, from planning the nursery to picking a name.

I won't go bore you with all the details, but my next few posts will likely be about the projects I've been working on around the house. Making room for a baby is a challenge when you are working with limited square footage and non-existant closet space. It has taken some creativity (and a lot of boxes for the basement) but I'm happy with the progress we've made.

I wanted to share a picture of the sweet vintage bassinet I found while shopping in downtown Athens, Alabama. If you are ever in the area, Athens has some really cute and unique shops. If you like to pick through antiques and rare vintage finds, stop by the Clinton Street Cottage right off the square, where I scored this bassinet (for less than $30!). The quilted ivory fabric and the blue skirt were recently added to make it like new. I can't wait to put baby Rowe in it!
